What We Are About The proclamation of the Gospel to a hurting and lonely world. The worship of God with all of our minds, hearts, bodies, and souls. Biblical study. Physical and spiritual healing ministries. The sacraments of the church, Baptism and Eucharist. Preparation for life through marriage counseling, confirmation training, and ministry discernment. The care of the poor, the dispossessed, those who are in hospitals, and who are dying.

Prayer for St Luke’s Richmond |
Oh Lord, we give you thanks for the gift of the Apostles and for your Church. We especially give you thanks for St Luke’s parish. We ask that you send The Holy Spirit to dwell within our hearts and to give us strength, wisdom and encouragement to grow this parish. We ask that you help us to remember that everything we do here is for your honor and service. Help us to not be blinded by our own desires.
We pray for our Bishops +Walter and +Larry and for our Priest. Give them the wisdom and compassion to minister to our flock. We pray that we grow not only in numbers but in true faith. We also pray for an organist to lead us in the singing of hymns and psalms to your honor.
Bless the people of this parish and give us your unending love. Send your angels to watch over us to keep us safe and from all sin and temptation. We ask this in the name of the Blessed Trinity, Father Son and Holy Spirit. |
